New people at Bablers this winter and they seem to have gotten off to a good start with house rentals and roads. Good for all of us.  I found out this weekend that Fords Sleepers changed hand too.  Rod Thompson bought the whole deal just after Christmas.  I talked to Rod about it yesterday when he had a minute to talk.

Curt, Walleye Retreat has new owners also. Pete and Teri will be staying on this winter to help per their website. Quite a few new owners over the last few years.

Bablers is called "Dales" now and they are hard at it.  I think they are fishing Twin Islands pretty hard and they have rental houses out and are making roads....no truck traffic yet of course but I think that those who fish that area will be happy this winter...

It seems like nothing changes for a while then a bunch of stuff changes.  Those people at Walleye Retreat did a good job for many years.
