curt quesnell posted a topic in Lake of the Woods Fishing Reports - Hunting - EventsHere it is, looks like a tiny bit of progress this week...... Adrian’s: Open; allowing ½ ton’s with 21’ wheel house & ¾ ton but no house in tow. They are marked out 10 miles north of the island with a few more walleye showing up. Cyrus Resort: Open; No report. Morris Point: Open; Al has upgraded the vehicle limits to; ½ ton with 21’ houses & ¾ ton with 16’ still no 1 ton truck allowed. The bite is spotty to good out in the 33’ depth, a little better in at 26-30’ & some evening frenzy’s in at the 18’ depth. Roads are in excellent shape no bridges & no cracks. Zippel Bay: Open; No vehicle Restrictions. Fishing not too bad for mid February. The igloo open & hopping (FYI Thursday’s is ladies night.) Dales Fish House Rentals & Winter Access (formerly Babbler’s Road): Open; Dale has upgraded his vehicle restrictions also; 1 ton with 21’ allowed to west of Gull Rock & ½ ton with single axles allowed from that point to Arnesons reef. The road is probably the best in the history of what was “Babblers Road”. Springsteel: Open; Allowing ½ ton with 21’ houses now & 1 ton with single axle & still plowed only to the DNR reef. No cracks yet but a little slush here & there.
