Eights fished for two days and kept 55 fish. Mostly walleye, some sauger and a few perch. Fish 25 - 27 fow during the day. Fished 17 - 19 fow in mornings and evenings. Swallow water bite was very good for one hour in nthe morning and one hour in the evening. Did put back a 23 1/2 and a 22 inch walleyes. Fishing was slow but probably normal for LOW this year.

How was the roads going out of Long Point? Are there breaks? Could you drive all over or stick to the road? Are people down to 4wheelers/sleds?

The roads there are in good shape. You can still go out in a pickup with no prob. Fished there on saturday most of the day with little luck...3 eyes

Those numbers are not very good. I wonder if the weather (holding on the cool side) is keeping the bite down. We usually fish around this time of year and generally catch that between two of us in one day. Is there any melting going on yet up there?
