went out to garden island sat. caught 15 fish between 3 people caught one 24" threw him back rest of walleye ,sauger mix were between 15 to 19"had a good time making the track .we went straight out of morris point on sled very smooth ride. fished in 22' of water with green glow demon.

Jighead; how far is it from morris to Garden, about the same as coming from Wheelers Point? good to hear you got into some fish. Should continue for the next month or so, I hope. Bill

22 miles out we made it back in shore in 45 minutes very nice ride but do it in daylight as there is sheets of ice which would be hard to see at night if you are coming from wheelers you could take the snowmobile trails

Were you fishing off Starren or on the west end of Garden? Appreciate the report. I have been hearing reports that the fish are up high. A friend did good up in that area fishing 22 feet of water also. The odd thing was that he had one line only 6 feet down and the other close to the bottom, both lines produced equally.

we fished off the middle of the island south side we stayed away from the other houses and everything we caught was a inch off bottom
