I was planning on heading to F.L. on Saturday also, with the others who are planning to show up, could be a pre-gathering at F.L. Be nice to meet a few of you guys and put some faces with the names.

I too plan to try to make it out to fish on Sat. It sounds like they are going pretty good and I want to get in on the action. Well I hope to see some of you out there.

With this crappy weather we have had , anyone know what the current ice conditions are on Fish? With these balmy temps and the mist or drizzle, is it slushy?

I too will be out on Saturday with my brother in law. he won't be to duluth until 12 or so but we'll be out there in the afternoon and hopefully there will be a night bite. We're gonna go out from high banks too, see you all there. Anyone bring 2-ways? If so what channel? I have a generic one that doesn't have subchannels. When I get out there i'm going to find northlander but other than that i'll be walking where everyone else is going so I know it's safe. See alot of you out there this weekend.

Sat I'll be out for sure but was thinking a different lake. Maybe I'll hit FL if theres a lot of FMers out there.

We use channel 7 with no sub channel.

Im heading to Fish now. Ill be at the end of the Narrows towards Crappie Village. Try to get out off of the sand/weed point. Black Quickset Icehouse.

Where the heck on the lake is this at where you are going? I don't know the lake very well, and obviously don't know any terms for bays or islands on the lake. Just basics like hi banks and eagles nest areas.

Any help is appreciated.

Not much difference. I get mine at Chalstroms usually. Better portions and its fresh cause they go threw so much. Besides BD110's sister in law works there.

Of the people hitting FL in the morning on Saturday, I am heading out solo, anyone heading out early? I was hoping to be at highbanks By 7am, what time is anyone else planning on being there, and are ya walking out from highbanks?

Would like to head out Friday, but don't get done at work till 5, oh well I guess I can wait twelve more hours to head out in the morn.

I hope to be on FL Sat AM by 8am, launching from the public access ramp, and riding 4 wheeler along the shore to the hi banks area.

If ya see a new body style F150 (bright red) with a Polaris Sportsman 500 (green) give me a holler! It'll be me!

I will be at Fish about 7am as well. Maroon F150. I will probably walk out of Highbanks because I dont have a wheeler or sled. I will be at Fish today about 3pm or so. ST where will ya be? I have a idea but want to make sure. Just say right or left. Im assuming hogs rock area?

Probably be heading out to fish at about one also. There's a few other lakes i'd like to hit, but between the fish we caught the other day, the barage of FM activity, and the fact that we know the ice is good out of the narrows, fish just seems like the logical choice

I'll most likely be in a blue voyager, i'll keep an eye out for you fellas.

Porter look for Surface Tension when ya get there. I dont think he will have a house. Probably close to where you and Cheffrey were. Ill get there about 3 maybe sooner.

Steve give me call when you get to High Banks. Cell coverage is spotty so I'll have my FRS on 7. Once you get past the narrows you should be in range with the FRS and I'll come get ya.

If that doesn't workout then I'll be on hog reef.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya, I know Northlander will be up there early also. I've got a tan 2000 Explorer, my plan is Highbanks @ 7am!
