Pine Island area

A group of us are headed up this weekend. We will be going out of Cyrus's on Friday and fishing around Pine Island. How's the fishing been and are any roads in that area still good, we would like to fish w/portables on Saturday if possible. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Adrians road should still be accesable from Pine Island. I believe he has it plowed out to about 34' of water. I would give him a call just to verify that its not under water. bill

nice2Bout,<P>Check out the thread titled "What a day...March 6th Report". Its just down the screen on the first page. Last weekend was a pretty bad day to be catching fish on the big lake for whatever reason. We were out of Pine Island in just about every depth imaginable but couldn't get the fish to bite. Hopefully the bite was related to the Alberta Clipper that pushed through because it was definitely not your typical day on LOW. We're heading back up again Sat. so hopefully things turn around a litte bit.

I just talked to Tom Schuster, we are staying in a sleeper this weekend, he said it has been a good bite recently. His houses are about 4 miles out of Pine Island.
