Just wondering if anybody knows if the Ely Lake Sportsman swap meet is a go, or not?

Thanks

Jim

Made it down on Saturday.

Better than a dozen vendors selling their wares.

Guns/fishing/hunting/camping equipment, spearing decoys, some gearhead "stuff", you could even buy soap, if you were feelin a bit grungy. LOL

I didn't buy anything, but the wife shore did.

All in all worth the hour drive.

Met a bunch of people, talked guns, selfbows, and fishing, can't get any better than that.

Lots of good stuff.

Lots of buyers.

If they get any bigger they will need a larger venue for their next swap meet.

Thinkin maybe next year, I might have to go setup, the only bummer is that I have more "stuff" than Walmart, so I could probably use the whole building just to sell MY wares.

Jim

PS;

This is a great idea for any organization that would like a bit of exposure, and wants to make a little coin.

Can't imagine that at this time of the year, you can't draw people from all over the NE.

Missed it when it was down in Twig.  Drive up from the cities, buy some stuff, say hi to a bunch of HSO folks, grab a hot dog then drive down and fish the shore for a few hours, before heading home. 👍
