Sucker large shiners available anywhere?

Heading up to Arnesen's in a week and was just wondering if any knows of any bait shops in the area that might have suckers or large shiners in stock?  Would like to put a bigger bait out under a tip up inhopes of catching pike.

I was in the shop near Wheelers Point the other day, Bobber Stop,? up the road from Log Cabin, and they had some nice looking  frozen monster size smelt, or ciscoes. I would suggest the big shop in Blackduck for live suckers if you go that way.

It's my understanding that frozen smelt, if purchased, has to be certified VHS free to be legal bait.  Frozen smelt bought at a grocery store is illegal bait if not certified VHS free.  Correct me if I'm wrong.
