Amazing how we no longer hear mention of Gary Johnson and the "hookers, blow, and open borders" party that some here so ardently supported lo these years past.

I am still on board. Anyone who is going to protect the 2nd amendment, reduce spending and stop wasting money on programs that are well established failures gets my vote.

I'm a PaulBot. I suppose some consider that fringe.

At least my vote didn't go to elect this Fool, like yours did.

If you voted for a third party candidate, or failed to vote at all, because you thought you were taking the high ground, you helped elect Him. But I'm sure(not really) you already know that and just aren't smart enough to admit it.

Like I've been saying, You get what you voted for, or don't vote for. Enjoy. You helped pick a winner. But, Maybe you got who you wanted all along?? shocked

And please, spare us the tired rhetoric that the other guy was just as bad, STOP, we'll never know now will we, despite your assertions, and unless you can change history, all you have is pure speculation, nothing more PERIOD!.

BTW, I quoted that so you wouldn't miss it. wink

Actually it would not have mattered if everyone who didn't vote for Romney or Obama voted for Mitt. full-14506-47577-2014_07_20_2105.png

Too weak a candidate.

Actually this is a thread about Dayton, Governor of Minnesta.

A thread in sillytown veering of course....hard to imagine. Hayseed, just whine incessantly and blame Obama for something, it truly can be his fault, but it really does not have be......then it's ok .....but please don't poke holes in said incessant whining winksmile

We need more of those in the Minnesota general elections. It would be a refreshing change from what we're used to getting served.

What's needed is a GOP that people can vote for.

Finally, we have a winner. This is exactly what most conservative minded independent voters are waiting for. The more the GOP keeps losing the sooner they may get it through their heads that a few key positions need to be changed and brought into line with today's conservatives.

Maybe because it's not a presidential election year? crazycrazycrazy

And yet you are in essence picking a whackjob by voting for the 1%'r. Whats more, a whackjob that is most likely 180 deg from your ideals which makes it even more of a wasted vote. You think you're sending a message but you're not. Instead, said whackjob is moving the county/state/country further away from your beliefs and you're left standing there with a hole in the foot that you just shot.

Ten, twenty, thirty years ago it wouldn't have mattered. But now, more than ever, it is crucial to purge these progressives out of the system from top to bottom, and if it means voting for the "lesser of two evils" then that's what has to be done. Voting for the cutesy Independent is just moving the country further down the drain and industrial strength Draino probably won't fix the mess the Democrats+media+unions have made, but you don't need to exacerbating the problem by handing them even more votes.

What you're failing to understand is that it is crucial to purge BOTH D's and R's equally. We are doing that now by going after the lowest hanging fruit which is the R party. Voting both of these parties have already moved this country further down the drain. I hate to tell you but the R party is not the Draino here, they are part of the clog.

No, I didn't get what I voted for because I voted for smaller government, balancing the budget and a party that understands the constitution. Voting for the Dems or Reps will not give me any of those no matter who wins. You may be fool enough to believe that things might change (If you are able to block 2000-2006 out of your mind) which is what they are counting on when they throw these losers out there for you to vote for.

The one who got what they wanted is you considering either candidate either had done or was going to do exactly what has happened so far.

Typical Libertarian whack job response.

If you can't see how the progressive left is dug in like a fat tick then you're part of the problem as well.

Open your eyes.

You may want to answer him in Braille from now on.

Good luck with that! Do you REALLY think the DFL voting machine and UNIONS will EVER vote their person out. According to the BLS..The number of wage and salary workers belonging to

unions, at 14.5 million, was little different from 2012 Now take that number times 3 due to a spouse/married to a union member and the "legacy" members who are retired. Your looking at an easy 45 million votes just for 'union' association. Again, do you really think they are going to vote different (at least enough to justify a real change?) Heck I remember on this site during the last election with Emmer and Dayton and guy said "I'm NOT voting for Emmer cuz he wants to cut teachers, and my wife is a teacher", nuff said. Good Luck.

There were no union members in this state when Arne, Jesse and T-paw were elected?

I can see it. I can also see that far-right, bible thumping, science denying crackpots have a strangle hold on your party. If you think that's a winning formula for nominating candidates, you are going to be disappointed on election day. And so am I.

The problem is that they are the ones who show up at the caucuses and conventions and vote in the primaries. Those who only gripe and vote in the general election are way too late in the process to have much influence on either party.

(by anti-science I am presuming you are talking about the global climate change carbon tax ethanol windmill solyndra tax subsidy scam resisters)

Dayton skipping the gubernatorial debates at both the state fair and Farmfest? Huh.

What's he afraid of?

If history is any indication, I'm guessing terrorists.

Those flooding problems are a sign of your needle and seat are leaking.  If the needle has a ring around the tip you can clean it if it's brass. If it has a black rubber tip then it needs to be replaced. You can clean the needle and seat with things like rubbing compound or even toothpaste I use a product called Semi chrome. It for polishing die pins. Just clean them up after polishing.

All of those Polaris sleds from that era were notorious for flooding and leaking. I've still got a 2003 XCSP 600 Edge that my daughter rides. As you noted, you need to shut off the fuel in those situations.
    • SkunkedAgain
Yes, but it could make for an amazing walleye opener.

How old is your belt?   My old Polaris 4 wheeler with belt drive was bogging at mid range to top end last year.  Changed the belt and that problem went away.
    • JerkinLips
Previous owner (22 years and 5,000 miles ago) said it was prone to flooding when sitting for a long time or trailering, so I shut the fuel off in both cases.   Primary is significantly worn.  I replaced several rollers and pins which helped.  I have two used clutches in much better condition that I could (and should) install.   It seems more like when I hit the throttle, but the bog could be from poor clutch shifting.  Will have to pay attention next time and inspect the clutches.  Thanks for the ideas.

Nope, he beat me fair and square, all his.  This weather had been depressing. As it sits now we are looking at a later than normal ice out. I hate scrabbling with docks, lifts, boats right before opener. Also limits some pre opener crappie chances.

👍 when/if i get drawn.....which i should know about june 1 we'll get in touch........both my kid and myself should get drawn.   and thanks.........with 6 preference points............i think are odds are pretty good.............there giving out 375 permits......and since we had yogi and booboo destroy my birdfeeders last spring......🙄

In those years Polaris was known to put buna tipped needles in there sleds. They get a ring around the seat and don't seal shut. But if that would be the case your problem would be with the motor shut off and filling the crankcase with gas. If your plugs are brown that is were they should be. I wouldn't drop that needle down to the last grove. I would replace them before I did that. I have never had a carb with that setting. Have you looked at your clutches? They could be dirty or have a bad roller.  Does it bog as it's accelerating or when you hit the throttle?
