Is a guy able to walk out from morris point, and get into the walleye area, or is it to far to walk with all the gear? Is their any snow up there on the main lake? cause my clam plows a lot of snow and it's a b--ch! coming up New years, Idon't have a 4 wheeler or sled, just a 4 wheel drive pickup, the ice maybe wont be ready to drive on by then any info would be great, Good fishin.

Yes, you can walk out of Morris Point. They charge anywhere from $3-5 per person. It is only a 1/2 mile walk or so, but ice is kinda rough and bumpy. There is hardly any snow out there. Been hauling snow from shore to bank our houses. THe guys have been catching fish in 14 to 19 ft of water.<BR><P>------------------<BR>Terri Fischbach of Walleye Retreat
