I bet not too many boats out on their own during the week.

And with Strieffs tourney this weekend there might not be

much sharing going on. The bite is very solid, you will have

a great trip, the weather should be great!

the bite is the best in 80 years you will catch fish all day long my uncle guides out of sportsmens and today all he did is bait hook all day long

I was up this past weekend downrigging and man was it tough to say the least. The water was so stirred up from 4 days of heavy wind that you couldn't see your crankbait more than 4-6 inches under water. In a couple weeks when you go it should be fine if the weather comes around.

Its been a goofy summer with alot of wind and not much heat. I think it was the farmers almanac that said a cool, wet summer and I think they came pretty close so far.

What did you guys see for Mayflies? I talked to some that were fishing the west side this past weekend and they said there were a lot floating.

We left Arnesens saturday afternoon and the mayflies were just starting to show up. One of the owners said it was the first batch he has seen . They get really thick around the entrance to the lodge.
