The kitties came out to play today. Lots of other species too. I think I had 5 different kinds of fish today. No big channels for me yet, but quite a few small ones. Mostly like this 20 incher

Sounds like fun, I havent even caught a sheephead yet this year. I was going to go out last night as well in the boat, but my prop was in my wifes car, and she went to her parents. I went shore fishing somewhere else and could buy a bite.

I used mostly worms in one of the spots that you probably frequent.

What fights better, a carp or buffalo? And is there a specific way to target buffalo, or do you just through a nightcrawler out and hope for the best (or worst depending on your regards to buffalo)?

The fight is the same. They will eat lots of the same things as carp too. The buffs do seem a little more willing to eat artificials than carp. Worm on the bottom is a good way to get one. Hair jigs and twister tails work when they are biting good.
