White bass?

Just wondering when the whities usually start up. I remember some posts from last year, it sounds like a blast targeting these guys w/ light tackle. Where's a good place to start? Also, is there a season on them or are they open all year?

Open all year. I've heard a few murmurs of some being caught already. I have plans to find out first hand tomorrow

Yep light walleye/heavy panfish gear works great. Beetle spin or twister tail, or stickbait all work well.

Are you going to be fishing in areas where creeks are coming in?

I'll mostly be fishing where the driver decides to go. When he stops, then I will cast.

I would assume the discharge areas would also be good the time of year.
