I fished Latoka last opener. We got 1 Walleye (21 inches) in 12 feet of water off of a very steep point slip bobber fishing with a leech. The Walleye was in the weeds. It seems the weed line in this lake is 20-21 feet.

Does anyone have any thoughts on a method for this lake?

This is a clear lake too and deep. But, it seems the Walleye's are hard to find.

Thanks

You sort of answered your own question. Latoka is a deep clear lake. The early-season walleye bite on it is generally tougher than on some of the shallower lakes in the area like Mary, Reno, etc. You may want to try fishing shallow, or find a different lake entirely.
