20 inch Box Fan

Recommended Posts

There is a rumor going around that the tale of the 20 inch box fan will soon be made into a major movie! I know there are many "Fans" who would like to see the tale brought to the big screen. No word yet on casting but there seems to be a lot of wantabe's out there... A summer release may be breezing your way!

That would be fan-tastic. Our high velocity fan, blasting on high speed, blowing everything out of proportion. Eluding the best fan chasers around. Cool..... gringrin

One would think there would be more interest in the "FAN" now that the summer is starting to show up. crazyshocked

He'd have to sell it to someone other than an FMer.. We all know what the real one should look like..or close to anyways.. It's been a while since we've seen a picture of it.

Has anyone claimed this "box fan"? I am in dire need of a 19" box fan.

Oh, this is a 20- forget it.

I noticed that TRZ mentioned using a little elbow grease to remove stickers. I've never used this product on stickers.

Does anyone know where I can find some good elbow grease?

We're still trying to locate it.. It's been on the lam.

If anyone sees it...we may have to assume it is now armed and dangerous. whistlewhistle

I was at my local post office today, had to pick up a package. They were a little short staffed and the lady behind the window asked if I would have a problem coming back and getting my package as it was to heavy for her to lift. I went behind the door and I passed the wall where they still have the F.B.I. wanted posters. In 11th place was a picture of a fan symbol and in bold print "Wanted 20" box Fan" also any information or person who may have seen said box fan.. Well having seen the box fan in the orange VW bus last summer I was not going to say anything, I just got my package and left. I wonder what the fan has been up to? Bank robbery? I always thought with the stickers it was a good fan, maybe the fan has kidnaped the driver of the van and is forcing him or her to drive the fan around the country.. So many questions, like how did the fan break it's blade to begin with? Maybe it's a bully and we have been this whole time thinking it was just a lost or stolen misplaced fan with fuzzy stickers. It all could be a cover I tell ya...

Maybe when Glenn is in KC, he can look around for it.

With those Royal stickers on it, the fan might have thought it belonged there. crazycrazy

On the side note, it is good to see the posts are back and running on this subject. There were quite a few days in between posts.

I wonder how the movie is coming along???

Too bad "Public Enemy" has already been taken.

I think electric items have their places, I just don't think large commercial jobs are going to be able to work well with them. Can't see a logging crew out in the woods all day changing batteries!
    • gimruis
I agree on the choices.   I didn't mean to say that a battery auger was better or greener or whatever.  I could care less about that.   It just seems that "most" ice anglers have made a switch to a battery auger in recent years.  That's all I was saying.  I know about a dozen people who regularly ice fish and they all have battery augers now.  I bet if you conducted a survey of all ice anglers, the majority would answer that they use a battery powered auger.

Best weed eater I've ever run with great longevity is Echo, I'd check them out

Hey government,  Just give us choices. I don’t care what people use as long as as it works for you. I’m needing a new weed eater. Plan on a Stihl FS 40 easy start. I’m done with the cheaper brands. Just don’t last long enough.  Probably true with the Stormy Daniels of the world as well. Cheaper don’t last long enough 🤭

If you turn on a movie they survive the 20min ride just fine. After many controlled experiments, I've found that they survive much better if you show "Finding Nemo" instead of "Jaws."

Quick update: Lucky 7 now has rainbows, fatheads, crappie and light pike in stock. If I remember correctly, scoop of rainbows was $8.99.  Stopped at L&M in Virginia. Rainbows $6.99, fatheads and crappie minnows (scoop) $3.99. I was billed $6.99 dozen for rainbows, but was given a healthy scoop!
