I figured you're to smart for the roadkill trick... so I'm gonna try spray painting a chicken black and taping some hair cut off my daughters old Barbies for the beard... just gotta wait to see how long yours is first to see if Malibu Barbie gets it or Homecoming queen Barbie! grin.gif

I hope you realize that Jenni-O you brought home from Waskish doesn't qualify for this contest! Kelly and Jon told me all about you setting up your blind in the frozen foods section in the grocery store in Kelliher... tongue.gif

Boy we can really get some trash talking going here... C'mon team 8!

Good Luck!

Ken

I just found a bird!! Private land no one can hunt on!!! The guy who owns the land said the bird is at least six years old! When he bought the land he first seen the same bird six years ago.

Its a big big boy. I am so jacked up right now. I am hunting late season so hopefully there will be no tresspassers.

hey TTT lets here were your hunting and what your weapon of choice is and what your set up with maybe we can help one another out in the field.

This morning I say a flock of 15-20 birds 6-7 toms struttin around only thing was they werent in my area would be a sweet set up.

I'll be shootin either knight black powder shotgun with 5 shot or browning gold hunter with 3 inch remington nitro turkey load in 5 shot and I'll be hunting 223b private and state land, have seen a lot of turkeys in both areas not sure if I will use a decoy or not

elwood, I am also in 223 - what public land are you seeing them? I was out in the Sand Dunes and saw a couple - but the weather I think kept them out of view.

I hunted Kunkle last year with out luck. I think we are talking about the same area in the Sand Dunes. Oriens Hunter (FM member) got a nice bird out of there last year. I have the perfect place to go on the edge of the dunes - alot of scouting and a place where I dont think people will go.

Always looking for another area - so keep me in mind.

Yea I used to think that too but it never ends up that way

I just locked up a spot on private land that boarders sand dunes and this guy always see birds on his property I'll probaly sit at his place in the morning if the birds are close then run and gun from their.

where in Kunkle did you hunt? I saw the birds on the southeast side, about a month ago I got to look as this area is only less than ten minuets from my back door.

I hope you guys leave a few toms for me to chase around in 223 too, I'll be hunting the "C" season, a combination of private land and the Sand Dunes.

I haven't decided if I'll be using my bow or shotgun, I'll probably bring them both too. If it's raining at all I'd take the gun instead of the bow. 2 years ago my brother helped 2 guys look for a tom for an hour and a half in the rain the 1 guy hit while it was raining but the rain washed away any sign.
