lake smetana

Anyone ever fish this little lake in Eden Prairie? I tried it today on a whim, I didn't take any live bait and caught one 'gill. Not great but bigger than anything in Bush lake. Saw some guys pull a northern out on a tipup.

Anyone know what all is in this lake? The DNR website has no info on it.

hurben, I work real close to this lake. There has been a lot of developement in the area
surrounding the lake. They've torn down houses and built a dam to raise the water level. There is more places to access the lake now too. While you can indeed catch fish there, the majority of the lake is so shallow
that when you get a lot of snow,the winter-kill is pretty bad.Still there are some nice fish in there.I'd like to see some more improvements done to the lake itself. Bryant lake dumps into Smetana via the creek that flows between them.So whatever is in Bryant could also be in Smetana.I have caught some small crappies,sunfish,and a few northerns out of there.I used to seine minnows below the dam in the spring,and would get an occasional largemouth bass in the net.
There are the usual rough fish there,like
carp, and bullheads.
