Which is better?

We are coming up tomorrow for the first time ever and I was just curious as to which end of the lake everyone feels is best. We are all Mille Lacs rookies and have no idea where to fish. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would suggest the north end- alot closer to mud flats

The "mudflats" are the dominant structure for the northern part of the lake.

Rock bars, sand and gravel make up the structure for the southern part of the lake.

I would suggest keeping an eye on these posts and see what you can gather. Pay attention to the resorts and the structures names people are using. Get yourself a map of the lake so you know where these people are talking about, and give it your best shot.
