chisago ice

was out checking the ice Sunday around the area. keep in mind the lakes ice changes because of lake freezing a little at a time and is never safe. little green has 3 1/2 in the bay but changed to 1" as you went out. the chisago channel was about 1 1/2. there were people fishing on this but this is to thin for me so I don't know what was bitting.
and I did not see any fish come from little green. other lakes are and in the 2 to 3 " also but this changes fast also. remember Ice is never safe! they had to rescue a snowmobile sat. with this weather a few more day should get us out on most lakes.
I think I'll wait what's two more day's.

Thanks for the update. I plan on heading up to the Chisago/Lindstrom Channel tomorrow. Do you think the ice is thicker than 4" yet?
