Wow this thread is growing fast!! I just got off the road! I'm an entertainer/musician/bandleadleader. I have my own group "Cocktail Stevie and the Tablerockers". We play classic rock and classic country. Casinos, festivals, weddings, divorces! Just about any reason for a party. I've been paying professionally for 40 years. Yes that's 40 years! I'm now classified as an "old fart"! Plus I just started selling commercial real estate. Not much of a 401K plan in the music business!

I work on weekends and fish during the week when it's less crowded. I love my job! cool.gif

I'm a PA (physician assistant). I diagnose, treat, prescribe medication and perform minor procedures in collaboration with they physician I work with. I specialize in Urology and subspecialize in the oncologic-urology (cancers of urology). My day is spent seeing new patients with possible cancers (blood in the urine, elevated psa, testicular mass etc), diagnosed cancers (prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancer) and cancer rechecks (prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancer and a few penile cancers as well.).

I go fishing if i get done early for the day and on sundays.

I work at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

I try to decipher carlcmc's handwriting, if that doesn't work I just give them something that will make them happy. I fight with insurance companies (which consequently are run by lawyers, and when I call them I get put on hold for hours at a time to talk to shaniqua in texas to resolve a claim in MN). Finally, I make long conversation with elderly strangers about every aspect of their health.

A global IT service management process and tool manager for the second-largest bank on our planet. Sounds impressive, eh? It is true.

This is also true: A pee-on manager in a bought-out credit card marketing company, which is now an outpost of the US division of the North American region of the Americas region of an old crusty bank based in London.

I quit putting a title on business cards, it has become so meaningless! If I could, I'd just put this for my title: "Difficult Stuff Gitter Dunner"

As an IT worker who deals with offshore Indian resources frequently, mamohr686, I would LOVE to talk to Shaniqua in Texas on any given day! smile.gif I have had calls that I simply hung up on, 'cause I can't understand anything the person on the other end is saying! It cracks me up! I just redial and hope the call router gives me someone with better english! It's like playing craps! smile.gif

LOL. Actually, mine probably aren't that bad. Almost all prescriptions written at Mayo (and its hospitals) are printed on prescription printers. I use a computer program to fill it all out and hit print. I then just scribble my name :-). Actually saves time most times as I always have the computer logged in to look at the EMR (electronic medical record). I have all the common prescriptions I use on hot buttons so i click the button when i order a prostate biopsy and it automatically spits out a prescription for levaquin 250 mg qd for 5 days and a fleet's enema. :-)

carlcmc-

My daughter was in the urology department in March! Great people there.

It is fun to read where you might run into a fellow FM'er.

Excuse my ignorance, but was is driving the bait prices? Usually the shortage is due to a late ice-out from the swamps and streams. This year should have been much better.

I should probably learn to use the 6+ containers of lures I have collecting dust in my tackle box. We got on a decent crappie bite the last couple of evenings and I broke out some plastics.  I caught some crappies on them ,just need to build my confidence in using them! I did notice they didn't seem to hold on to them as long as minnows!

      Great news, thank Skunked

Minnows are 50 cents each, and leeches are $50 a pound.

Absolutely. I get full bars all-along the drive from Cook to The Landing, and out into Head O Lakes bay. I can't say that I've stared much at my phone signal anywhere else besides on my way to Black Bay. We still don't get much for service there because there are a lot of steep slopes with tall trees in the way. That was expected though. The tower is definitely providing better service to the area in general IMO.
    • PSU
Any updates on this new tower? Has it helped AT and T customers throughout the lake get better service?
    • Jetsky
Thanks for the heads up. Cigar.

The price will blow your mind if they get some

Went in to Lucky 7 to get some crappie minnows today. All they had were crappie minnows and fatheads. She said to call in advance for the opener, couldn't say for sure if they'd have rainbows, shiners, etc for opener!
    • SkunkedAgain
I hope to see it and believe it next week! Nice looking crappie
