want to head up this weekend hoping someones got a few reports on winnie,bowstring,and big cutfoot. hows lake travel, i assume its safe to drive about anywhere.

Was out on Winnie and also tried cut foot on saturday. Had 8 nice perch sat. morning left the house and went over to cutfoot went in on 148 drove on the lake at the access near the narrows resort. Got there about 10:30 met a guy from work he had 7 nice crappies 10-12 inchers. he'd thrown back some smaller ones. He was fishing with wax worms I marked alot of fish 4-6 feet off the bottom but no takers went back to the fishouse at 12:30 was missing the perch action. It was still good out there untill 1:30 then the bigger ones quit bitting but still lots of action with smaller ones. Hope this helps Good Luck.
