Winona State Basketball!!!

The Winona State boys basketball team is # 1 in the region and there for hosting the regional tournament if you got nothing to do this saturday come watch the warriors work there way to the top. They really do put on a great show with dunks alley-oops, they got it all so come cheer 'em on!

The game starts at 6:00 pm against south dakota

well we were gonna keep it a secret but since you asked they did not do well, lost all three in fact. Hard to understand when last year the lost one game total. But as a spectater i can honestly say they were playing like they all had a keg party the night before. Still an awesome time at night, iowa city is a crazy place.

Now come on tom even though the guys arent much to look at its still a great game to watch that a promise you!

David Zellman is a just a flat out STUD!! I watched him play a few games back when for L-A. I can't believe he is a senior at Winona State already.

yes david zellman is a stud, tonight he scored 31 of the teams 96 points and helped the warriors to win the regional finals, now its off to indiana for the nationals, go get em wariors!

I heard they're in the final 4 in NC2A and even heard an interview with Zellman up on the radio up here.

I got to watch him play quite a few hs games and could see he was going to be fun to watch after hs. The best game I saw him play was a non-conference game against Byron on a Sat. afternoon and he won it with a 3 pointer at the buzzer. As a Byron fan, my hat was off to him.

They now play in the national championship, which I believe is tomorrow night and will be televised on national television.

thats right Rugby, cbs on saturday around noon, watch em guys they always put on a good game, in the final four game they were down by 14 at one point and came back to win by 10, the team has got some heart

Tip-off is here. For this Winona State almumnus, it is a little surreal to see WSU playing nation-wide on CBS, but in a good way. They have already represented better than the University of Iowa did in the post-season.

50-39 Winona St.! I never heard a single thing about these guys but am watchin it now and they do look very good. Personally from the performance i have seen in just the second half they are gonna win this one big time. Way to go Winona. Its about time a team from Minnesota wins something big!!!
