anybody know where i could get one with contours?

Being a river, it is constantly changing to some degree so any map more than a year old is subject to error. I have also seen the water level vary by over 10' in the last 4 years so if you can find contours you would have to adjust to current level. LakeMaps has one that has some basic notations although they are off on our location by about 4 miles. I would also be interested in looking at a more detailed one if there is one out there.

thanks for the reply, i'll check out that map, just looking for something that could give a guy a general idea of the "normal" depth in an area. 4mi. off maybe i should make a map
