Portage?

Has anyone hit Portage Lake for perch and crappies? Any info would be great, thinking of heading there and staying at Iowana Beach.

I can tell you Brad and Brandy are very nice people. My group was unable find any crappies the only day we fished the lake. There are some good ones in there. Just ask Brad when you get there, He`ll know whats going on. That lake is loaded with micro sized perch and is tough to fish through them. If you do choose to chase craps I would check the west end of the lake just out from the last point on the north side. There is a nice break all along that shore.
