How late can we fish this year ( ice conditions)

I want to head up out of Warroad ( Sprinsteel) for some pike and was wondering how long do you think I have before the ice conditions really deteriorate and it's too late to drive a vehicle out there, I was really shooting for the weekend of the 18th-19th. Any info would be greatly appreciated. And has anyone been hammering anything over there recently????

If you're talking march 18-19 you should have no problems.

Well scratch that idea hotels were booked in Warroad I'm heading to Baudette, How's the Pike/walleye fishing over there in mid-late March??? is it shallow,deep,are they mixed together??? I know in warroad we always fished out deep for northerns and had pretty good luck in 20 - 25 feet of water and mixed in a few walleyes with 'em. So thanks in advance for any info anyone is willing to share.

Four Mile bay out of Baudette, from Wheelers Point can produce some pretty nice gators, also some eyes. The season runs until mid April. Bill
