Perch Derby Info???

Anyone have any info on the Perch Derby? that is this coming weekend on Lake Bemidji??? Such as cost, location on lake, etc... Thank you!

The Perch Jerk for kids is Sunday from 1-3 out from the Nymore access. Pick up your ticets from bait stores around town. They are free. Each kid needs to be with an adult. The kids get a free meal, bait and lots of prizes. In the past they have given away many bikes and lots of other prizes also.

Hope to see lots of you out on the lake with your kids!

This is a great event! My buddy Matt used to help drill holes for the derby and said the kids always have a great time. This is exactly how you get the youth involved in our sport. Kudos to all involved.

What a great day on the lake with the kids. We did manage to catch a couple of perch with one being 9.6 oz. That was a nice perch, but was too small to place. Each of our kids won a bike and a drawing pick.

Thanks to all who volunteered again this year, I saw lots of smiles and was nice to see the attendance so big!
