Now that the season is over, i can post my recent success on lake winona. I had one fishing goal this winter- To catch a keeper walleye in lake winona. Last week i decided to give it one more try, and it paid off. I caught 24 eyes last week from 12-22 inches. Most fish were around 14 inches. They were caught on jiggin raps and buckshot spoons with minnow heads. All fish were released.

I can't wait till the opener. I'm still trying to get that 30 incher that's in there. Last year during opening week i got a 29 incher, so it might be 30 by now.
