Mazaska or Shields

Have either of these lakes been producing any nice panfish? I been fishing one lake mainly all winter and I would like to hit a few others.I use to fish these lakes years ago with pretty good luck,but it has been 5-6 years.

I was out yesterday afternoon and fished both lakes. The graph showed plenty of fish near the bottom, none would bite. I heard the same thing from others on the lake. One good thing, the driving conditions were great and it was easy to move around.

I was on mazaska tuesday of last week, eary and late bite is what I discovered, I used a plain red tuturn hook and a small crop. minnow, west of the big group of houses 250 yards or so the deep hole shallows, look in this area.

The fish you see on the graph are small perch in the deeper water, I down sized to see what they were,a camera would probley be nice to have.
