Here's a 12.5" Crappie caught on a gold jigging Demon. I caught a few on the Wolfram jig and the Little Atom Optic Stealth as well.

As Rick Stated in another post,no need to travel a long ways when you can get into the great panfish that are in the southern Mn lakes around here.Sometimes the fishing is just awesome and the drive is short.

My only question is when is someone going to catch a 15" crappie on one of these local lakes? I would guess that there are a few lakes very close that have the crappies of URL quality.

Yes, there are nice crappies around here, but URL crappies are in their own category. Their sheer mass is unmatchable.

I will continue to travel to URL at least once a year until someone can tell me there are absolutley no crappies left in the lake.
