Had some problems with the Ice Castle(broken leaf spring) so didn't get quite where we wanted to be(fish in middle of the road 6.5 mi out). Didn't catch crappies but limits of decent size perch and several northerns in 11#-15# range. and of course walleyes.

Jeffs' working hard on the lodge and should be in good shape for opener.

I had the same thing happen to me this winter. Fortunetly my leaf spring made it home. Call the dealer, they can sell you a new 1 piece spring. I bought 2 new single thick leaf springs for $40 total. They only take a few minutes to install also. The dealer told me they were having problems with the bolts falling out of the multi leaf springs thats why they are recommending the single leaf spring style now.

I had the multi leaf springs and broke a leaf. Was able to drive home with it. Got the single leaf springs for but had to get a new pivot piece that was longer as the leaf was a litle shorter. May want to ask on that.

Ice castle out of Montevideo sent out a new leaf with attached cable at N/C. Just a good thing it didn't happen on the hwy!

That could have been very bad. Had a couple other glickes but they seem to stand behind there houses and haven't charged for anything YET.
