Spent the day on Mazaska. Set up in 18ft and caught a few nice sunnies and crappies right away. Marked lots but very few takers. Moved around after about an hour of no action. Tried the areas near all the houses and only could muster some 5 inch crappies. Stayed a few more fishless hours till about 7pm. Packed it up and hit the crappie hole on Roberds. Nothing going. Thought it would be a good day with the slowly rising temps, oh well For what its worth, the fish I did catch came on waxies, nada with minnow

although this has nothing to do with ice fishing!! any body know the statis on the public ramp on roberds?? they had it shut down last sept. and i was told they were going to build a new access road into it , plus a bigger parking area. is it still under construction, or?? thanks

Been there, go to the next road north of the resort on Roberts, the access looks to me like it is ready.
