Boat Value Website

I can't seem to find a website that gives a simple answer to the question, What is this boat worth?. Anyone know of such a site? I realize ther are many variables but I'm having no luck finding just basic info. Thanks.

I think you can get boat values on the NADA website. Maybe even KBB too.

Yes you can get values at NADA but they are completely off.

Best way is to check dealers, online advertisement, this Forum, etc.

Example NADA will give you value of a 1990 Lund 16ft and Mercury 50hp at $ 400.00 with trailer.

Well good luck finding a boat like that at that price

Unless hull is falling apart and motor is melted with no axle on trailer, you will not get it for less than $ 1,500

We use NADA for boat values, but it depends on the age of the boat. Such as an older fishing boat and motor that still runs good. Many times it will have more value than the book price to the owner. On newer boats/motors it is hard to ask more than book value and find a buyer. As a rule on older rigs I would take a look at the book value and look at what similar units are selling for. Price yours somewhat similar. Most of the time the value of electronics don't really hold much weight when it comes to the value of a boat. They may be a good selling point but usually don't influence cost.

Remember on NADA you have to get the value of the boat, trailer, and outboard seperate. This does not include any extras that you have added either.
