Minnesota Walleye Trail Schedule

Recommended Posts

We here at PoleBender Outdoors would like to announce our Minnesota Walleye Trail (MWT) 2006 schedule.

We will start out on the St. Croix River on May 21st. Then head west to Big Stone Lake on June 11th. We will launch our boats in Lake Osakis in central Minnesota on July 9th. From there we travel north to Woman/Girl Lake on August 13th. After the four season Qualifiers, we will take the top 30 teams to West Battle Lake on September 9th & 10th for the no entry fee MWT State Championship. We will be paying out over $65,000.00 in Cash, Prizes, & Trophies this year.

We have filled up all tournament openings with "Touring Teams" for the last four years! So talk to your partner soon. You can find entry forms and more information on our web site at www.polebender.com. Any questions please email or call us at anytime.

Hey Tom-

Have you ever thought about expanding the PoleBender Circuit to other states? There are a lot dissapointed SD fisherman due to the GNWC going under.

Yea, we have been asked that a couple of times. Anything more than what we are doing now turns it into a full time job during certain times of the year. Then we run into the problems the GNWC had. So as much fun as it would be. And I know the need is there. We have our hands full.

Thanks for the thought!

Don't take me wrong, I'm not anti-technology.  Battery powdered items will always have their place.  I'm mean you don't want your girl friend or wife in the bedroom playing for their gas powered adult toys!!  That would be a bit loud and smokey!

That’s right. My 84 year old dad loves his electric chain saw. Light weight and quiet. Besides, at his age he’s not cutting a bunch. Where as myself I want something with more power and heavier duty.  Look at how many people have switched back to gasoline cars after running one in winter if you travel a lot.   As long as my strike master works I’ll keep using gas. Maybe my next will be electric, but who knows,  you can find used gas ones pretty reasonable as others buy electric.
