Cedar Lake

Does any one know the ice conditions on cedar?

8-12" of ice. Ice is inconsistent in quality. Some is good clear ice other spots have two to three inches of white ice (re-frozen slush). Have seen vehicles on the lake but they aren't mine!

I would recommend ATV or sled travel. I have seen minivans and cars on the ice.

Has there been any pike action or what were you searching for? If for northerns how deep? Thanks

Some northern action - less than 12 feet.

Try straight out from the access, about 100 yards past the island tip by the access. North side of island. Big shiners or suckers. I like suckers better for northerns. Good luck.

Bite has been slower last couple weeks.

Thank You I will let you know if I try there. Most of my luck last year on cedar came out of west cedar in about 7'

and on the south west side of the island by the access so i thought i would give it another try
