Heading up to Miltona next week for a few days on the ice. I have never been on the lake before and was wondering if anyone could point be in the right direction for some day time pan fish and evening walleye action. I don't mind moving around a bit and will be dragging my trusty clam behind me. If anyone has any information on some of the small lakes in the area for pan fish please don't hesitate to jump in. I will have a kid or two with me during the day light hours. Thanks

Clamback, Reports have been pretty sketchy so far. Do use caution as the ice is not a uniform thickness. The easiest and maybe best place to go for pannies is the north east corner of the lake right out from the public access. Walleye success has been mixed, hopefully they will start to become more predictable! There are lots of smaller lakes you might want to hit for pan fish, and maybe a tip up for pike, as well, Irene, Spring, Spruce, maybe hit Ida in Betsy Ross Bay as well.
