Was out on east side of Medicine late this afternoon. Caught and released a few crappies, lots of very aggressive sun fish and a pair of 15"-16" walleyes. Also had a very nice northern cruise through the hole. Most of the action was between 4:10-4:35. Ice is about 4" - and found a couple spots thinner - be careful!

Was out on the west side tonight from 5 - 7 caught 6 crappies missed 4 was a heck of a time about 6 inches of ice and about 2 in slush

Lots of slush on the east side as well, but way less than 6" of ice. How late did you stay?

Only till about 7:30 or so just wanted to get out for a bit close to home. Got the lines wet about 5:45 and fish hit from then on. I dont now what people are talking about not catching fish this year. i have been out 7 times this year 1 time Coon Lake in Anoka county 5 times to Buffalo and 1 to Medicine. Only skunked once that was at coon.
