Green Lake Reports

Wondering if anyones been out yet this year w/ any luck? I'm planning on going out today or the next and was wondering where the fish were biting, if they are? I have read mixed reports in the panfish forum that fish have been found deep on other metro lakes already. Gives another option to try if they are not hitting in the shallow i guess.

Tried one of the area lakes and ended up catching 50-75 sunfish and 1 bass in 2 hours in about 8ft of water with my little brother. Most the houses were in shallow water panfish spots on Green Lake when driving by. And they are usually there all winter long on Green anyway.

Was out today from 12-2:30 pm. Had good luck catching fish in about 8 fow on waxies. Fish were small but there were a lot there. Found a few keeper sunnies in the mix but no good sized crappies.

dan- were you on green in chisago..if so how much ice is out there?

Was on the green in chisago. Enough ice to drive a wheeler. Between 6-8 in most spots.
