SOUTH CENTER DIRECTIONS

Can someone post me directions to South center lake off of Hwy.8.Preferably the shortest walking distance to the island so I don't have to walk so far.

I would say park next to the swedish village and hike on out. It really is stupid that they close down the park right next to pancake island.

I was out on S center last weekend and the fishing wasn't all that good, but there was a low front that movede through. prolly 5-8 inches where I drilled. I was in a different area, but mikes bait near chsago told me the best way is to follow the mn snowmobile trail. If you have any questions from there, Mike's bait was really helpful as I had never been on S center before.
