Who's going to Upper Red this weekend?

Just wondering how many of you are going to Upper Red Lake this weekend? And where are you going out of?

I'm going all night Friday and possibly Saturday too out of Rogers. I will be driving a 98 Ford Ranger (Grey) with Fishing Stickers on the back window, and will be in a Polar Sport 1-man flip over.

Will any of you guys be up there Dec. 25-29? We will be up Christmas Day and wondering if anyone wants to meet up.

I wish I was, I have to Fly to Ohio to see the inlaws this year. Believe me, I'd rather be fishing!

Well, our group was going to be up there, 9 of us with 3 houses were going to spend the whole weekend out of Rogers, but we made a change of plans to a different lake further south after reading Roger's ice report Wednesday morning... don't want to wade in knee deep slush... not my idea of fun fishing. And certainly don't want to walk 2 miles. I like to drive out, set up, and fish. So I guess we will try Red again next year... as I doubt with all this snow.. you will see any good driving conditions on that lake this year. It's like a blanket that keeps the cold off, keeps the ice thin, and pushes the ice down and water up... all around bad. Crappie haven't been biting there anyway. Good luck to ya.

Going out sunday afternoon on the way up to LOW, gonna bring the wheeler up and hopefully it won't snow to much! Should be up in the area around 1. Anyone else going sunday afternoon?

I'll be leaving for URL on 12/26 early morning. Gonna hit URL & then Lake of the Woods for the whole week.

I have to work all weekend so I am heading up on Monday assuming it is not -20. I am planning on heading out of Morts or Rogers, Not quite sure yet. Good luck all
