I was able to get out on the metro this past saturday but it stunk in the metro...I am planning on heading up to Rush Lake but have no idea which lake to go to?For Perch? For Crappies? any info. would be great

West seems to be a little easier to just join in one of the cities and catch some fish. East is certainly good but can be a little harder if your not familiar. West also has some decent spots that are reasonable walking distance from the public access.

I would second west. Much easier to fish. Find a group and fish on the outer edge of it. Thats what I do. I usually catch fish too.
