Genz rods?

Are they any good? I just bought one(GGZ36817) at Gander Mt for a level wind reel. I am trying to get some gear together for the Burntside bash since mostof my stuff is panfish stuff.

I liked the old Genz rods much better than the new ones. Handles are to small to my liking. The casting rod you got is the only one that I would ever use. I still have several of last years Genz rods that I still use from time to time.

That is a post that I like to see. "several of my ice rods are genz rods from last year". a guy can never have too much outdoors gear.
