12/10-12/11- Shields, Roberds, Mazaska, Cedar, Albert Lea.

Well we went lookin for fish this weekend. Cant say we found many but will share with ya what we found for Ice.

Shields had 4" in most spots a few maybe 3". Fished the bay didnt venture out more than 300 yards. Not even a bite. Afternoon Fishing.

Roberds averaged around 4" with many spotty areas of 2". Really had to be careful on the path you took. Made it out about 300 yards. One little eye had to leave when the winds picked up and started pushing our portable. Got the one around 6 PM.

Cedar was a no go. Pulled into the access and saw a few had walked out maybe 20 yards. Ice was soft.

Mazaska had 4" maybe 5" by bullrush bay. Lots of people on the ice. Caught a few sun fish but it was slow.

Albert lea had decent ice again around 4". Was on the water at sun up Sunday morning and got into a few eyes around 15", got slow in a hurry though.

Snow on the Faribault lakes was less than I expected. Alot of the black/grey areas seem to be getting stiffer but still not safe.

Will see what the weather brings this week and try again next weekend.
