Rogers Resort and Shucks Motel

Me and some buddies are going to be up on URL the 12th and 13th of January and getting a sleeper through rogers and shucks was wondering if anyone ever went through them.. Went through WESTWIND last year but couldnt get reservations this year.

I keep my sleeper shack at Roger's Campground. Jerry & Joani run a very nice operation there. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Make sure to stop in the lodge and have a pizza. Mmmmm....

I don't think Roger's rents house's themselves. outsider has enough fun with just their road. It is Shooks Motel.

Do any of you know what there rental ice house sleepers are like i reserved the 8x16 sleeper. I rened one from Westwind last year and was very pleased with the house and location.

I will second Rogers. I always get great service out of there. They no longer rent sleepers, but have a few people who do rent sleepers out of their resort. Don't know whether I can post names of them, google search rogers campground on Red, go to the site and you can find them. The Shooks ain't bad either and it isn't that far of a drive.

I rented a 4 man sleeper through Shooks motel but they siad they load at Rogers. Just wondering if anyone has rented a sleeper through Shooks.

I have stayed in Shooks (Alpine Fish House Rental) sleepers for the past few years and they are the nicest rental houses that I have seen up on Red. Jerome is a good guy and alwayse seems to put us on fish. I have rented sleepers from most of the outfits up there and have never had a bad expereance but just based on the quality of houses; it's Shooks for me.

We rented through Shooks last year and fully agree with the last post. Very nice ice houses - like fishing out of your living room - only you'll catch more fish
