Crappies

Hi~We fish crappies on Crane and Grassy late summer every year, and chase them every where else through the rest of the year. Have been spending every winter on Upper Red and are getting sick of the crowds. Would like to bring our sleeper up to Crane area, but aren't sure where the winter bite is. Anyone want to chase crappies up there? We've gotIce Pro fishhouse, and Otter to keep us mobile if anyone else is like minded and wants to chase those beautiful slabs around this winter! Have rarely caught a crappie under 12" up there (did I let the cat out of the bag?) Touch base. Upper Red Lake is getting old for those of us that have been there awhile, but like to catch nothing but slabs!
