Dan, I live in Maplewood and this lake is close by home. I have information to share with you. You can e-mail me at [email protected] for the details.

One thing to note there is a aerator on this lake so make sure you are aware of where this if before you venture out.

Assuming you mean the North St. Paul one, yeah, there are some ok fish in it. Pike aren't really big on this lake(not much over 4 lbs.), occasionally Tiger Muskie here or there(smaller sized), Walleye are there...albeit hard to find(which is strange considering there is only one deep hole), Perch(fairly big according to dnr), sunnies (small), and crappies(don't know specifics other than fellow fisherman's accounts) at decent numbers, Largemouth can be decent sized, but aren't a big target during winter here. Aerator is on the east side of the lake off of Century. I'm sure the other guy can fill you in the rest and where to go, etc.

P.S. As of last night, the thickness was about 3" out to about the point on the right of the boat landing. Didn't go out any farther though, so it could be same thickness a little farther out. I didn't check the beach side of the lake though, as last year it was the slower end to freeze.
