1997 dakota truck

I have a question, im looking at a 1997 dodge dakota truck, 3.9 6 cylinder. Does anyone know what mpg this truck gets?

I cant find any info anywhere else so I thought id try here.

Id get the V-8 too. I get 17-18 mpg not pulling anything and about 14-16 when I do. I think the V-6 is about the same gas mileage and if its manual probably about 20. I would also recommend having 4 wheel drive for the winters here.

I used to have a 93 and when it was time to replace it a couple of years ago I had the same dilemma.....and came to the same conclusion as the preious posts. For the minimal difference, go for the V8. I have the 98 sport x-cab so it has the 31" tires. I get about 14mpg. Smaller tires might help a little with the mpg but dont look as good cool.gif
