Guys,I was thinking that maybe this year at our get-together we could do a take a kid fishing day along with our day.I would be willing to do the work if you all thought that this would be a workable idea.I would line up the food such as hot dogs and pop, prizes and such if you would all be willing to take a young fisherperson along in your boat that day. Please leave myself or Team Otter a little feedback on this.Thanks-Tom

Tom,

Are you referring to the winter or summer get-together? Just curious. Either way, it's a good idea.

T.O. For now I was thinking of this summers event as I dont think I would have enough time to get enough door prizes for the kids and line up the meal.Maybe next winter we could also have a kids outing.I figured if everyone could put one extra in thier boat,it would be great for the kids.

Darn good idea. I'll keep that in mind when deciding on the date and location and the making of the fliers for advertising the event.

T.O.

We might want to key on a lake with a good panfish population when picking the lake so that at a mininum the kids would get some action. That would then make it easier for ol lee too.Maybe next summer I can catch a few,as humble pie isnt very filling.

Good thought. I'll definitely take that into consideration.

The take a kid fishing could be fun. Would you want to keep the number of competition hours down? Those with large families could rent out kids to those without. grin.gif
