Just so you guys know, we have a dog sled race here in Deer River the weekend of Jan 20-22. Hotel rooms in Deer River and possibly Grand Rapids may be hard to come by.

I just called to Denny's Resort this week to get information on rates/availability for the Lake Winnie I.C.E Leaders event. They had only 2 cabins (a 2 bed and 3 bed cabin) available for that weekend.

You better give them call if you are interested...... Get em' while they are hot!!!
