How is the fishing for crappies on Bowstring and do they have access for ice fishing? Curious always wanted to try it there.

crappies and perch are both good on Bowstring. you usually can get out on one or the other accesses I dont think any resort has roads there

Jason, Always been talking about trying it one winter and I think this will be the one. Any size to the crappies at all? I have got real spoiled with Red Lakes Crappies over the years. Been looking at some lakes I can do as a one day trip. Thanks, gary

The craps on Bowstring tend to be on the nice side they were nice there this past fall so there should be a good batch there this winter
