ice fishing trip????

im making a trip up to red lake the day after christmas and was wondering if any one things if you will be able to drive out on the lake and where might be the hot spot this year? usually go to red during march.

all I can say is wait and see, whatever mother nature does.. as for now, I think you would be able to drive wheelers or sleds with the cold weather the last few nights.

Most years we are driving vehicles and moving the big houses out onto the lake right about X-Mass time.
